Madeira Diving Prices

Terms & Conditions

Madeira live aboard holiday is weekly based, from a Monday to a Monday. Arrivals can start boarding the boat from 14h30 and the boat will depart from Funchals harbour at 20h00. At the end of the weekly diving holiday guests are expected to leave the boat by 12h00.

We also accept divers for two to five days, depending on availability. The boat can take up to 20 passengers and 5 crew members.

There will be three optional routes dependent on weather conditions. The captain always has the last say. The tour will include 3 - 4 dives per day including night diving and will be mostly on the south side of the island. Sites will include marine nature reserves, reefs, shipwrecks and other islands such as Porto Santo and the Desertas Islands. There will be a special route for the summer to the Savage Islands between June and 21st of September and will be a route of 10 days.

Price includes tanks, weights, full accommodation, all meals breakfast lunch and dinner, appetizers, mineral water, tea and coffee. Not included are soda and alcoholic drinks. Flights, transfers from airport or any other part of the island are also not included in the price.

People coming on this Madeira diving holiday are expected to bring with their own insurance and diving licence. A logbook with the medical inspection is also recommended. If you do not have insurance by the time you get to Madeira one can be provided locally.

Groups between 15 - 19 people can bring their own instructor with, without charge.
Divers without a dive computer will be obliged to dive together in a group with an instructor.

NO decompression is permitted at more than 40 meters deep and a lack of this rule could be a reason to be disembarked.

Prices are on promotion and are expected to increase in the near future. Prices are per person based on the above terms and conditions. Daily dives are based on a minimum of two days, up to a maximum of five.

Special discounts are available to groups between 15 - 20 people, that are organised privately, through diving clubs or through tour operators.

A 50% deposit is required for reservations that are made more than 4 weeks to embarkation date. You have 7 days from date of booking to make a bank transfer, in order to confirm reservation. The remainder 50% is to be paid no later than 4 weeks before embarkation. Reservations that are made less than 4 weeks to embarkation are required to pay the full amount.

Please Note:

• Cancellations that are made prior to 4 weeks of embarkation are entitled to a refund equivalent to half of the deposit paid.
• Cancellations that are made less than 4 weeks of embarkation will lose their 50% deposit.
• If the remainder 50% is already paid then that will be refunded.
